This was my last attempt at going slightly off piest (inspired by Joseph Osbourne's excellent HAL-3 decal set) www.scale-rotors.com/.../1499-bell-uh-1b-huey-hobbyboss.html

Spot on! Thank you Gino - looks like the original Revell parts will need a bit of trimming to correct, and lining everything up without the location holes will be fun, but it still seems "do-able".

Time go shopping.  I've seen a 175th AHC gunship in the Vietnam hueys thread on this site that I have to try (19 shot rocket pods and miniguns).  I think the cobra company upgrade set will sort all the weapons.

Thanks for the help,

Matt

The mounts should be separate on each side.

Revell Huey Hog - weapon mount question
Posted by HueynutUK on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 1:45 PM
Hello all,
Having nosed around this excellent forum I wondered if anyone can confirm what I'd need to do to the weapon mount on the Revell UH-1 to make it more accurate? From memory the kit has two "bars" that attach across the entire body. Is that correct? Or should the mounts (M156?) actually be two separate items?

Thanks,
Matt
