Interesting diorama choice. I've wondered how many choppers are still over there today.

I think it was in Flight Journal several years ago, but there was an article about a Huey losing the main rotor and crashing upside down.  You could model the investigator looking into the crash and scratching his head as to what caused the rotor failure.

George,

Check THIS thread I started a few years ago on ARC.  It should give you a few ideas.  If you have some specifics you are looking for in a crash I might be bale to help as well.  I would also recommend Bent and Battered Rotors by Wayne Mutza.  It's a great ref and inexpensive as well.  HTH

Hello,

I purchased a 1/35 Panda Huey kit at a show only to realize the front canopy is cracked , so I want to do a crashed Huey in Vietnam Dio in memory of the brave boys who flew in these things. Does anyone have any good photos of a down Huey or any ideas for this dio?

Thanks in advance ,George
