1/48 UH-1D door guns

I can't see the M23 mount system but I'll be getting the door guns from Italeri from their UH-1N, but they look more modern so I figured I'd swap them out for the M60's in the set above. Definitely going to use the pilot/co-pilot and probably the GI's as they look good.

So, are the Propganda Kompany resin parts any good for making into UH-1D door guns?  

I'm pretty sure that the 4 M60's in the top pic are M-60D's like you would need for the M23 system.  My guess is the Italeri 1/48 N model you are looking at is the new release.  If so, those are not US machine guns.  What you really need is the Cobra Company set.  Get in touch with me and let's see if we can work something out.  The Propoganda set I got was OK, but there was a lot of flash to remove from the parts.

Yes the Italeri UH-1N kit is the new one, boxed as the AB212/UH-1N.  I figured the door guns aren't US ones, I can't tell what they are though as all pics are too small for me to identify them, probably wouldn't even know if I had the parts in my hand though.

Looking at the parts from the Italeri kit the mounts appear to be very similar if not the same as the M23 mounts, so I plan on just swapping the guns over.

I realise the Cobra Company set is exact, but I'm also leaning to getting the crew, and that Propoganda set looks like great value for money as you basically get the M60's and a co-pilot for free from the looks of the price compared to buying the parts individually, that set will cost me about the same as the XM-23 kits x2 from Cobra Company.

I've contacted Cobra Company again though as I noted on their site they take Western Union money transfers, that might be the solution to me not having a credit card.

At the moment though I don't have the cash, I'm looking around for parts whilst I save up so I know what is available and where.

EDIT - Just had an email back from Chris at Cobra Company, damn he's quick.

I can indeed use Western Union.  Need to figure out how that works now.  Lol.

So I'll probably just buy the crew from Propoganda, although it will cost me a bit more that way, although I won't have to buy the Italeri parts (or rob them from the kit I plan on buying).

In Vietnam they hadh M-60 door guns with normal shoulder stocks and pistol grips fitted, not the spade grips found on US machines. At this stage my only option looks like buying 2x Tamiya MP HUMMVs with the gun I want and discard the rest of the kits. An eBay seller in France advertised what I want in resin but the parcel never got here to New Zealand.  Any other source would be appreciated.

Those 4 M60D's are exactly what I am looking for same for the pilot figures. I am hoping someone has the weapon set for the Esci UH-1D that they aren't using as that would help me a lot as I want to do my esci as a gunship so I can have a escort ship for my Italeri UH-1D.
