I did not encounter any fit issue on the fuse halves but I noted the bulkheads inside should really be positioned correctly or there will be gaps specially in the part after the crew cabin.

Fantastic.  You've inspired me to buy one of these to go with my UH-1D, UH-1B and USCG Bell 47 (the latter 2 I've yet to start though).

Small question though - how well did the fuselage fit together - when dry fitting were there any gaps between the two halves at all?

Most excellent!!!  The first photos showed the opened doors so I couldn't wait as I scrolled down wanting to see how you had modeled the exposed engine!  Gads, nice!

Has more details than the old Revell helo. Great looking model.

Nice work -- thank you for sharing.

The engine is so complex it's a pity to hide it.

Fantastic. On my list is an H with the engine exposed. You got it right.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Finally finished this Gallery Models' H-34 USMC helicopter. It is a good kit. Plenty of details and fairly good fit. As in other instruction sheets some part locations are not clear but in fairness I think it came out well.
