Looks great! I almost reached for the sprayWink

The engine detail and blade droop look like they turned out well

Looks great.  Not particularly a fan of the Westland Wasp, or most helicopters by UK manufacturers, we just don't seem to build particularly inspiring ones.  About the only really iconic ones we've got in my opinion are the Sea King, and that's a Sikorsky bird originally (produced under licence by Westland) and that's been/is being replaced by the rather uninspiring EH/AW101 Merlin.  Then there's the Apache Longbow and the Chinook, but they're both by Boeing, a US company.

Your model looks great though. Yes

Hi all, this is my Fujimi 1/48 Westland Wasp as used by the South African Air Force/ SA Navy untill replaced by Super Lynx.

The kit is OK, but the cabin detail was pretty bare so I made it look a little moe buzy with padded seats, collectives and yaw peddals.

The canopy top was "blued" with food colered future.

I just got the decals today so I should be able to complete it soon, the gloss dark sea grey is already on.

I did have to re build the rotor hub. The wasp has a marked droop of the blades at the hub assembly and needless to say broke off the blade grips.

This is as I understand a very rare kit, and as it was a gift from a mate I need to do my best to do it justice.

As you can see the engine is very basic and will need loads of work to get it looking better.
