I don't know of any 1/12  after market helo decals at all.  That is not a common model helo scale.  You will most likely have to make them yourseelf.  You could also contact Joseph Osborne at Fireball Modelworks and see if he can upscale some of his 1/35 helo decals to fit your needs.

If I understand correctly you are looking to make your own decals and need to known what the markings/stencil data says?  If so, Google:

MIL-STD-2161B and MIL-STD-2161A(AS).

The former is the current (2008) USN/USMC aircraft paint marking guide and the latter is the previous version (circa 1993).

You can find usually find them online.  Sometimes as free pdf downloads.   For example here is a link for one:

commons.wikimedia.org/.../File:MIL-STD-2161A_%28AS%29.pdf

While these particular pubs don't have a location diagram for the markings, they do show what the markings are and if you can't read what the marking are on your 1/35 sheet you should be able to use the associated symbols to match them up with the ones in the pubs.

The exact locating diagrams are in different aircraft specific pubs.  I've got the UH-1N manual but not on this computer.

Another option is to buy the Fireball 1/35 HH-1N decal sheet and use it for comparison:

www.fireballmodels.info/fmd-14.htm

The marking and locations for the smaller "stencil data" should be the same as your 1980/90s era UH-1N and he has an excellent instruction/placement diagram.  While I don't have this particular sheet, you can usually read his smaller decals with a magnifiying glass.

Please post some pictures of your 1/12 Huey.

PS - You say "(green but could be gray)".  Those helos often looked green but it was usually

Engine Grey which equates to Federal Standard color #16081.
