This kit only cost me $27 minus shipping but it was a battle to get it good thing the joker trying to outbid me was slow at the end. I wonder if the Eduard detail set would work on this UH-1D to liven it up a little I got a set for my Italeri UH-1D so maybe it should work.

Now this monogram kit only cost me around $17 and is pretty unusual I am surprised that nobody posted one of these kits on the FSM forum before. And I am also wondering with the plethora of Huey Hog kits that Monogram or Revell hasn't repopped this kit or even the Medevac version either.

You get what you pay for. The Esci D model is pretty good. The Monogram B/C abortion is pretty bad.

I've built the Huey Hog a couple times and haven't had any problems and was fun to build and that is basically the same kit. Though I think this kit might need some work on the winch but it is the only kit of that variant that is decent and from what I heard Fujimi's 1/48 scale UH-1B's are all bad.
