Having issues with the Revell MiL-24D Hind cockpit scratch build
Posted by Flyboy1986 on Sunday, April 20, 2014 9:57 PM

Hello all. I'm new to the site and have been building models since I was able to hold a pencil :P . Anywho, I'm having a bear of a time with the cockpit build of my Hind. I'm not fond of the "minimal detail" they offer, but at least it's a good base. I'm displaying it in flight so seeing it isn't really an issue, however I hate crappy detail no matter if it's seen or not. Half-measure efforts aren't my way of doing things. Any suggestions/ideas?

Cobra Company does a few full resin cockpits and loads of upgrades for your Hind.

You can get good photos of any version of the Hind on the internet ,then you will have to scratch build w/ sheet plastic and spare parts along w/Micro wiring to get realistic results that Photo-Etch can't match.I know because I have been there.
