Man, what a fantastic build and you really overcame some serious hurdles!

Looking at the early helos always makes me shudder, particularly that exposed tail rotor drive shaft (the shafts are under so much torque that any kind of impact to it like even a bullet can make those things separate, think of it like balancing on a soda can when you were a kid, even the slightest tap would make it crumple, same thing with a tail rotor)!

Wow Rick really nice work

If I hadn't read the prior posts I would have thought you just shook the box and it all fell together.

I'm guessing that, as your photos show, this thing is a "real stump jumper"

Looks good overall.

To blend decals better, this is what I do.  Gloss coat where the decal will go, sometimes two coats to ensure it is smooth.  Apply the decal and let it dry fully.  Spray on a couple more coats of gloss so the decal blends in.  The gloss dries slower and flows, self-leveling over the decal.  Once the gloss is dry and cured, coat with one to two coats of flat coat.  This usually blends the decals in seamlessly so they look painted on.

Little more update .

I have attached the fuel tanks. Then applied  future  for the decal  prep work area's.

I don't know if it's me , I don't care for future .  next model will lean towards a different gloss clear .

Paint the inner surface silver.  Drop a few drops of clear epoxy or PVA glue (Elmer's school glue) into  the painted opening and let dry.  Instant lens.
