Though I walk through the aisles of kits
I will fear no models
For I'm in the kingdom of Hobbies
I will build
in my room
in life and as after death
amen!

Yeah, A 1/48 Chinook would be good too but since Panda has said they would do it in 1/35 ,I exspect them to follow through.Approve [^]

At this point I'll take a 1/48 SeaKnight or Hook any day!...that should make it about 13 inches in length with 18 inch rotor span?

Try accuraizing and detailing Aurora's 1/48 scale Chinook.....I'm thinking about finishing mine....I stoped because I heard about Panda's 1/35 almost two years ago!

......( and don't tell anyone....but...I did pay 200.00 for that sucka about three years ago! Tongue [:P]Clown [:o)] )

Hey!..... I was new to ebay and FREAKED! when I heard ( for the first time ) that there WAS! a 1/48 scale Chinook....so like a big dope I kept upping my bid when ever some dude placed a new bid.....well.....by the end of the weekend....I was praying that some dude would come on and out bid me...NOPE! and who got stuck with a 200.00 dollar model kit....guess.....
The Wife and kidz were in California visiting family at the time and .....well ...you know the rest. To this day she thinks I piad sixty something for it....GULP!

Judgeing by the crisp detail of the !/35 Blackhawk,Pavehawk and DAP versions by Academy, those guys would probable do a great job on those 1/35 Chinooks!!!!!!! They would be pretty expensive though i bet!!!Blindfold [X-)]

I agree....

BUT!

They could turn around and become very competitive?.....I hear that trumpeter had some issues with thier first few kits.

I don't know about you guys, but I'd much rather have an Academy or Trumpeter Chinook over a Panda lump of styrene anyday!
