HobbyBoss 1/72 Mi-2T Hoplite
Posted by Grant Dalzell on Friday, December 5, 2014 11:58 PM

I wanted a quick build to in between larger ones I have on the go, so this little guy did the treat. I love Russian helicopters, and I wish there were some 1/48 scale ones on the market in the more different choppers like this or the KA-27, Mi-26, Mi-27 and Mi-8T.

I used Akan and Vallejo for camo, and I used  Phil's dark dirt wash on it.

This is my first helicopter since being back in the hobby, and having some 1/48 and 1/32 in the stash, I thought a 1/72 to work on first might help for future builds.
Thanks for looking.

Hello Grant!

Congratulations on a very nice build! Your model looks just beautiful. Did you know, that it's not 100% russian helicopter? Those machines were exclusively built in the Polish WSK Swidnik plant. Thanks for sharing and keep those babies comin' - have a nice day

You did an excellent job of making me think it was 1/48 scale. Nice! :)
