Hey CmdcntrI ...can help you here.. I spent 3 Patrols on the 616 ( Lafayette). It was my "Qual" boat. I also rode the RE Lee SSBN 601 which was a 598 class boat.
Most of the walls ( Bulkheads) were a light green similar to testors Israeli green.
All elect boxes etc were usually a med grey.. Ladders were alum with stainless stanctions.. No OD Green anywhere.. Also during my stay aboard the "whole boat was EB Black... Most Boats after " Electric Boat Groton refits" back in late 60s and early 70s were painted overall Black... Floors were an off white color.. Most overheads were cluttered with piping and wires which were usually painted an off white or very Lt grey..
Now for the worse part of this.. The kit you are doing is not at all accurate.. It looks more like a British Boomer than a Lafayette class boat.. Interior is 5% accurate.. DML did an excellent 1/700 scale 616 boat a while back and there is a Resin 1/350th kit out there also.. .. The 616 when on "Westpac" had the sides of missle deck and the Sail painted Haze gray.. It was painted with rollors by the crew while underway.. Surfaced of course...Paint jobs on Boomers were really poor..
I hope this helps

Real question is, "Why is this in the Helicopter Forum?"
