We could build a super computer that cold tell us the question to the answer ... but it wold take centuries to compute, by then we might have forgotten the answer.
Maybe we should ask the dolphins before they leave.

I think I should stop reading Douglas Adams' books ... maybe ... someday.

But if the answer needs a question, how can we question the answer?

Oh and forgot to say, there was never actually built one, let alone 42...

Does this mean we can post questions on the heli forum on how to rig a 18th century schooner ?

Although I've heard of a secret experiment during WWII, the sovjets wanted to build some kind attack submarine that could fly for short distances to attack ships from the air.. but I don't think they were Polaris subs.

Trigger,

Of COURSE the answer is 42... now if we could just figure out the question, we'd be set!

I think what he's talking about, was his post: "what color for inside of Polaris Sub?", being put in the Helo Forum by accident. When I read the "Polaris" subject, automatically my brain was frantically searching though it's database for a helicopter called "Polaris", then finally concluding it must have been a missed forum in light of the current subject. Smile [:)]

I've caught myself about to do the same thing, cmdcntr; all of these Forums contain such interesting subject matter, it's easy to loose one's self in it all! Wink [;)]

Take care all.....
