Mold release is amaterial they coat the mold of the parts with to aid in releasing the parts from the mold. If not cleaned off, it will cause all sorts of issues with paint and glue adhesion. With resin parts it is recommended to use Blech white  Tire Cleaner I think, but I think Simple Green will work

Groot; sorry, can you explain what the mold release is.  Is it the casting block?  I read to use a Razor Saw to release the parts.

Make sure you clean your resin of the mold release first!

Cyano is Super Glue.  It is short for Cyanoacrylate.  It works perfect every time for an instant bond.  Some do like a little longer set time and use 5-minute epoxy too.  It takes longer and has to be held in position until it sets.

Resin Set Parts Glue

In working my 1/35 UH-1D Night Hawk bird I purchased some resin sets e.g. M134 machine guns and 50 Cal. I'm looking for what type of glue is recommended. In researching the issue, I find that cyano is recommended. In other articles they recommend super glue. Can I get some feedback from the pros on the forum as to what you use?
