My latest helo, a quick build done over this and last weekend, probably a total of 16hrs. I was going to replace the grilles with mesh until I saw how tiny the areas I'd be working on are, there's no way my skills are that good!! I should have bought the 1/48 Revell or Gallery version of this helo...
I should also have read the instructions a little more carefully as a couple of steps require you to drill holes and secure a peg inside the fuselage - after they've told you to seal the fuselage up!!!
Also think I overdid the panel line/dirt wash, another Citadel shade failure, I really need to find a one-hit magic in a bottle wash...
I'm also missing 2 of the bars and stars decals, they got peeled off, must make mental note not to put tamiya tape over decals even if they've got a coat of future on them!!
My clear parts though are almost perfect!!
Looks great. What size are the missing star and bars? I may have a couple of spares, if you are in the lower 48, you can have them.

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.
As for the bars and stars decals - I'm not too worried about it, just have to make a mental note next time to watch what I'm doing. The helo looks fine without the missing ones.
By the way, what's the lower 48?
Lower 48 states. I can't cover shipping outside the continental U.S.
Nice build! Is this the Italeri kit?
No bucks, no Buck Rogers

Ah, I see. I'm in the UK. No worries though, I'll be ordering an aftermarket 1/72 decal set for a HH-53C I'll be doing soon, Knife 21, so I'll probably have bars and stars left over from them. Thanks for the offer though.
Thats a nice looking build there, realy good job on this old bird.
I flew on the British version, the Wessex, a few time sin the early 90's, so this brings back a few memories.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
On the bench: Airfix 1/72nd Harrier GR.3/Fujimi 1/72nd Ju 87D-3

Really nice build of the H-34 , my favourite helicopter .
Your helo is getting me motovated to try and get back into scale modelling .
Its been over 2 years since I built anything , I moved house and my modelling stash and equipment got packed away . I now have a huge shed which will house all my needs , I'm getting closer to having a work bench and spraybooth set up .
Would be great to get back into building again , lots of 1/72 H-34 helos to build , your build Raven Morpheus is certainly inspiring me .
John .
