Its a big bugger. That will keep me busy for

a while. I am going to paint it orange for

our local medevac colors.

Looking good! I've been eyeing this kit for some time. One of our local medevac units here used to fly the EC-135 and I loved the lines of that aircraft. Then they went and went with the A109. Still havent figured out why you'd go with a single-engined aircraft for this purpose, opposed to having two as the EC-135.

On the Bench:  Lots of unfinished projects!  Smile

All paint colors are testors MM acrylic, applied by airbrush

and brushed on.

Now that is cool!

Many years ago I was a flight medic i n the military. Here they mostly fly Bell 222's  and interestingly I am now busy molding one for a client about 1/6 scale RC

Does the medical equipement come with the kit?

I am tuned to see how this goes togeter :-)

Thank you for the comments Theuns ! very cool

you were a flight medic ! Yep this kit comes with a ton

of EMS equipment, I am going to keep it simple

as the EMS gear wont be seen, I am doing a close door

version, the model will be diplayed from

the ceiling.

I see that crew went with a nice arterial red for the stretcher so they cant see when the patient bleads out LOL  (sorry in poor taste but couldn't help myself)

The panel on left is from the factory and is way

to smooth and shiny for acrylic paint to stick.

The panel on the right I scuff sanded

with 1000 grit sandpaper, much better for

the paint to stick to.

After both panels are scuff sanded I washed

them in soapy warm water and let air dry

then applied two coats of Testors Model Master

Acrylic grey primer and let dry for the day.
