I believe AMT did issue the kit as a Bell 222 first with the AIRWOLF parts included and then again w/o the Airwolf parts.

I have never put together a helicopter, I think I would like to give it a go.

Well done. A suggestion, cut the main rotor shaf below the swash plate, and glue directly to the transmission to lower rotor height.

Very cool, I've always the 222 was one of the best looking whirlybirds out there. Did AMT ever reissue the kit just as the civil version? I don't recall ever seeing it.

Pretty bird, Mike.  A nice change of pace from military subjects.  You definitely made the most of what you had to work with.  I agree a modern 222 kit would be nice.
