                        I didn't want to post photos of my build of Scarface 44 until Brandon had posted his finished results.

                        I used Light Ghost Gray FS 36375 and Medium Gray FS 35237 as the main colors.

                        The cockpit is basically all black.  I varied the tones somewhat by using Aircraft Interior Black FS 37031 and Euro I Gray FS 36081 in the cockpit.  I used a rust color for the seat cushions to break up some of the black going from a reference photo I found on line.  I didn't use the instrument decals since the helo is parked and powered down.  To the best of my knowledge cockpits rigged for night vision use backlit instruments that would appear as simple black buttons when shut down.  I just glossed the screens and left just about everything else alone.

                        Again from some reference photos available on the Bell Helicopter web site I rigged a few cables at the cockpit rear, around the consoles and the canopy frame.

                        I did have some trouble with the fit on the engine exhausts. Including the aft engine compartment bulkheads gave me a problem. Since they aren't visible when the build is finished, they could have been eliminated and perhaps fit better.  I gave Brandon the hint and he appears to have avoided the problem.

                        As Brandon said, it is a fun build of a fearsome machine.

                        I agree, looks fantastic! The weathering looks spot on. Great job with the extra details. And the base looks great to finish it off!
