No, the CMK parts won't fit right since the Revell kit is 10% bigger than the 1/35 Dragon kit that the parts are intended for.  The Revell kit interior isn't that bad.  About the only thing missing are teh boxed in B pillar supports.  You could probably use the troop seats out of the CMK set though.

I was just thinking of using just the seating anyway... As the Revell kit is sadly lacking on some parts.....( proper interior, full compliment of armament) Thanks for the info... I thought the bulkheads might be oversize.... Shouldn't be too much work to scale down the seating ( back and side trim up and trim the supports) I just didn't want to have to scratch build the whole thing.... I have been asking my father in-law all sorts of questions about his bird ( trying not to give away I'm building this for him) he has only just recently started to talk about his tour in Nam ( mainly because I have shown an interest) I'm going to be doing diorama of a landed Huey in a field with 2 verdilin green beret figures plus a  dedication plaque to his units and tour dates...... Any pointers you or anyone can give to make this special would be fantastic....... Maybe a slow project as at the same time I'm constructing a 40s style gas/service station ( Plans over on Scale Auto forums) for myself and 4 classic iron.....thanks again Bedlam

I thought that might be the case..... I'll still order it... As you said the Revell is lacking in some areas.... I just want the cargo bay looking good as my father in law spent most of his tours as a door gunner...... I'll trim the seats to fit..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Actually, it is the other way around. The Revell kit is 10% bigger than the CMK set.  They should still fit OK though.  You may have to make the verticle support bars longer, but the rest should be fine.

Duh!! Of course it is.... Lol..... Well even better... Easy fix....

When was your Father in Law in country?  That info might help us get the details to make this bird special for him.

..... The little Annie Fanny ship he flew on had the head and shoulders shot of her on the front with her *** blacked out ( just like the Fireball models decals).. I had already confirmed that with him.. I'm using that I'm interested in the history of his tour to get snippets of info.... I know he had m23 armament and the twin 60 Cal with the 7 x rocket pod....but any info you guys can give me would be wonderful..... I'm doing this as a diorama with the aircraft landed on brush grass and 2 green beret figures in the foreground.... I have been on the 117th web page too to get ideas... That has been helpful... Detailing of the aircraft is the main thing as like I said I want to get that right as he spent most of his tours in the back of them... Thanks in advance for any info you guys might have...

Both of the above systems were not used on the same aircraft types.

The M23 doorguns would have been on a UH-1D/H as in the Revell kit.  Only door guns were used on US UH-1D/H long-bodied hueys.  Called "slicks", since they were primarily troop transports.  No UH-1D/H had the below, M6 system, or any other type of gunship armament configuration.

Cobra Company does an M23 Doorgun set in both 1/32 and 1/35.

The M6 system (quad M60Cs w/2 M158 2.75" rocket launchers) were only used on short-bodied UH-1B/C Gunships.

Cobra Company also does the M6 system in 1/35 to be used on a Sentinel/SAR UH-1B, or on Academy's excellent UH-1C kit.  CC also does a UH-1B backdate set for the Academy kit.

Additionally, Cobra Company also does armored pilot seats in 1/32.  These were in just about every Vietnam huey except the very early ones.

You could also use some of the Eduard 1/35/32 UH-1C PE on the interior and exterior for added details as well.

Ok.... Good to know..... I know he flew both 1C and 1D/1H... I may have got confused...

I did purchase the Cobra M23 add on

And the cmk cargo area seats ( I know the bulkheads don't fit but wanted the seats)

I know he did a lot of troop movement and some AO spraying... And being 5th SF also did a lot of incursion and sniper work... Very difficult getting info without being too obvious... Sometimes it is easy ( as I'm the only one he has spoken to about his tours in recent years) but sometimes it is harder as I don't want to trigger his PTSD.... So it's Slowly, Slowly Catches Monkey...  And also me being originally from UK it must be difficult for him to talk about these things to an outsider.,.. But I'll get there... Trying to finish this before his birthday in August..... And like I said I want to get this right for him... So all your input is,appreciated....

But again any info you guys can give will be helpful.... I know the earlier birds had gray interiors with red seats and the D/H had gray with OD seats is that correct

You would be safe with OD seats.  Although red is common in the civilian Bell 204/205 and possibly very early fielding of the Army’s UH-1s; I have only seen OD or Black in the Mil Huey family.  I’m sure there is exception to the rule, but OD was the common color.  I always had gray soundproofing (interior) except for nighthawk which was all black and when NVGs hits the field post-Vietnam.

 

Early US Army UH-1Ds had the red seats.  Below is a UH-1D from A Company, 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB) in 1964.

For a UH-1D/H in '67-'71 the OD Green seats would be more appropriate.
