While you are in the 1/72 mode or mood check out Italeri's MH 53E ,CH 53E , CH 53D,and the Wessex
HU-5.You will be very happy w ith your results.Do not forget their SH-60 Sea Hawk. These kits come out so nice
that I have done each one a couple of times.Oh ya also their H-21 flying banana.Have fun.

Very slick job. Nicely done. Two nights? Glad you had the uninterrupeted time :) I have three kids-no such thing as spare time some evenings:) -Ed

Thanks again for the compliments Dave and Lee...!

This was my first 1/72 scale helicopter kit ( but not my last !) in many years. I have since aquired a Hind, Hokum, and Kiowa and look forward to building these as well. Coincidently, I have done windtunel models of the Russian helicopters at work and have built a suppressor modification on an actual Kiowa at Ft. Eustis , VA. Now that was a blast!

The apache tail rotor is very similar, not quite that close together. Once again, cool model!

Very nice work.1/72 choppers can be tough.I just started to build choppers
in that scale this year.Thats after 20years of the hobby.I am glad I gave 1/72 a go,there are
marny different type in that scale. Italeri and revell put out some great 1/72 heli kits.
Your Havoc came out sweet.I did one about 5years ago,but in 1/48.It came
out ok keep up the great work, tthanks for showing it to us

Thank you Derek

Isn't the Apache tail rotor setup the same way?

If you would listen to everybody about the inaccuracies, most of the kits on your shelf would not have been built Too Close For Guns, Switching To Finger

Thank you for the kind words! Big Smile [:D] The nice thing about this model was I was able to build it one night and paint it the next. Sometimes I need a break from the "heavier" models that seem to take years to finish....
