Need help modifying the Panda 1/35 UH-1D Huey (FastFin)

Hello model friends,

I am in need of assistance on how to best cut the tail on my Panda kit to achieve the FastFin modification. I am trying to replicate a Bell 205++ which I have posted in another thread.

I would sue the below pics to make a template.  Resize it to the same size as the 1/35 tailfin, trace and cut a template, place against the model and cut away.  Use filler putty to fill the gaps and sand smooth.  It looks like a pretty easy modification.

I would use a razor saw on the horizontal(ish) cuts at the top and bottom and a sharp #11 xacto to connect them vertically.
