Sea King wip
Posted by midnightprowler on Sunday, October 1, 2017 1:15 PM

Building Airfix's old Sea King kit. Cockpit is finished. I used a pair of F-16 seats, I thought they looked similar to pics I have seen. Added tail rotor pedals, and ip decal is by Speeway Decals.

"watching"

Always excited to see a SeaKing!!!

From the looks of the kit, it looks quite nice...I haven't built mine yet, so I can't offer any tips.

I've got 5 of these bad boys in the stash! 2 Airfix (old and new), 2 CyberHobby (these build great), and 1 from Revell. Someday....someday!!!

That tooling, but a later issue. It has Royal Air Force markings.

This is the old tool kit.

The one with the raising/lowering sonar and diver (or is he an astronaut?) on the winch platform? One of my favorite helicopter kits from my childhood.

Yes, but this issue does not have that option. My kit is missing the left chin bubble window if anyone has a spare.
