It is coming along nicely.  The aux tanks are in backwards though.  The pipe sticking outto to front should connect to the back wall.  I thought you were building one w/the aux tanks and refueling probe installed, along with ESSS wings and weapons load.

I ordered mine via eBay from China on 18 Oct.  It was here in about a week and a half; on 30 Oct, Monday.  It will still probably take about a month to hit US suppliers.  Plenty still on eBay at good prices though.

Here is the fuel tanks . Looks so much better than what I was doing . 

Anyway My build is not 100 percent  accutire. I know what I'm building does not have the feul tanks . But I like the looks

Dang, I've had the Pave Hawk on 'pre-order' (Kitlinx) for months now.  I hope Gino having it means it's coming everywhere soon.  

Glad to help.  I have both the Kitty Hawk MH-60L and HH-60G kits.  The instructions for the newer USAF HH-60G kit shows how to assemble the refueling probe and internal aux tanks.  The plastic is all the same between the two kits, except for the G sprues, which have the MH-60L and HH-60G specific parts.   I have resent the refueling probe instructions. 

My friend Gino sent me private message today , He ask why I was building the feul tank when the kit supplied  the tanks . He also sent photo from the manual . 

My manual shows no fuel tanks or re fuel rods .

With Gino photo and part numbers , I do have the fuel tanks and fuel rods  with my kit . 

  I'm not sure  if Gino has same kit or Kitty Hawk left it out my manual . 

Thank you Gino , I do need the fuel rod photo again for assemble if you don't mind .

An easy fill/sand.  You may want to check how the IP fits inside the fuselage as that area may be below the canopy and unseen anyways.

Also, you re-posted the IP pic for the ammo box pic.

SEATS .  .  . The 60 I rode in didn't have any seats, except for one for the crew chief. Our squad just jumped in and parked our collective butts on the deck. But, hey, it was a ride home. The Lima must be the cushie model ride.

 

 

The seats are added/removed/reconfigured as mission dictates.  Any version of Black Hawk can have seats installed or not, it is not dependant on type (A, L, or M).  More often than not, a standard UH-60 has the seats installed.

 

 

 

 

Exactly. The seats are removable. For many of my rides in Hawks the seats were removed and a web “donut” installed on the floor as an anchor point for our static lines. And a different anchor point set up was used for rappelling or fast roping lines. Of course with no seats and their harnesses, the door “safety strap” was installed across both open doors.

 

Little catch up . I dutch the seats . For my build there is only the crew chief seat. I started dash ,Kitty Hawk could did have improve this part .The instrument panel attaches the the dash . They allowed a cut out on top the dash for alignment of the instrument panel . Now I have to fill this area
