pics of Blakhawk
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 8:54 PM
I have finished construction on my 1/35 Blackhawk model, and I needa weather it. My plan is to make it look like it's been operating in an arid region, such as Iraq. Are there any Blackhawk pilots here that can tell me details about what weathers where and how much, and tips on how to do it? Also, does anyone have some really good pics showing exhaust/sand stains, etc.?

Here are some pics of birds back from iraqistan. They show typical Blackhawk oil stains/ paint fade. In theater they geta glaze of sand colored dust on them. Id simulate this with a sand colored wash.

hope this helps,
Mog
