I was going to say that you have raised this older kit to another level, but after looking at the thread again I would have to say it has been elivate to a whole other category, and not just a level.

Really nice work in the cockpit and details. Considering the amount of glass this old girl has, it will be time well spent.

This is wonderful and enjoyable to watch too....

  Are you going to use the clear halves? Then you can float visible areas much better and just fog over areas you don't want or need to Show. That's what I did with Tamiya's M.E.262. I fogged color only in areas I couldn't detail or needed decals in that area.

       The rest is fully visible. That bird get a lot of looks and questions. I bet It would be fun on a chopper.

Those seats really look the business- great work!!! 

So this is the right seat. I decided to make the shoulder harness look as if someone just got out of it. 

I can get a little overboard on posting my step by steps so if I'm throwing too much out there please let me know. 

On the same note, since I haven't done this in so long, if I'm making mistakes please let me know. Right now I'm just kinda making it up as I go. 

I added switches and buttons and the friction lock onto the collective. 

Dom's seat is up next.

yeah, the Ertl kit is a civilian helicopter that has some add ons to make it look like Airwolf, which is exactly what the TV show helicopter is.

 

 

Yes. This kit is just Airwolf. The boosters are molded into the body halves rather than add ons like the Ertl kit.
