What do you condsider cheap? All the new ones are $30 and up! More like $50 for the Black Hawks and new CH-46.

Clear Left!

Cheap?
Or inexpensive?
Cheap is something I try to aviod, takes too much work and aftermarket to make it look, well, not cheap.
Inexpensive on the other hand is a good looking model out of the box that requires some TLC to be sure, but no hair pulling or swearing.
Durr, do not fall into the new modelers theory that the grass is greener, thinking the "other side" has it so good: "Just snap the side together and put on the top! Man that is too easy!"
Helo modelers have finally gotten the "more bang for the buck " as you put it, after being the red headed step child for so long.
But ,then again, if you can really get a good helicopter kit "cheap" as you say, tell us where and you will be our hero!!

I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.

I paid $89AUS for the Academy/MRC Pave Hawk, and I didnt think that was too bad. And you can get the new DAP over here for the same price.
