What I do is paint the Rotor heads on these, Dark Deck Grey, Then use a thinned coat of Anthracite to get that Metallic effect!
First, the HH-60D was never accepted as an operational helicopter, it was only a test bed. That said, the rotor head on pretty much all H-60s is a dark, bare metal color. I replicate this by painting it black and then drybrushing with a gunmetal color. Also, the central shaft below the head is chrome silver.
With all due respect, a simple photo search might be more useful than just taking someone's word for it.
That having been said, Gino (a.k.a. HeavyArty) is one of our resident Helo gurus, and might have your answer.

Hi everyone I'm working on Revells HH-60D Nighthawk and was wondering what color would I need to paint the rotor head and Blades to get a accruate look.the instruction say Paint the rotor head grey and blades black but some people tell me to paint the head a dark grey.I'm lost and came on here for advice
