I looks like Panda is long on "future releases". Their web site only shows a next release of the Arleigh Burke.
You may be waiting a while.

I recieved an e-mail from the staff at VLS, they were told by Dragon that the Panda 1/35 CH-47's should be relased in May.

That is certainly good news, but have you folks really seen Panda's products live and in person? I haven't built a kit yet, but I've taken a look in the boxes of of a coupla kits, and I'd have to describe the detail as "chunky" at best. Sturdy, for sure, but way out of scale (particularly the Huey).
Still is cool to have a Chinook coming out, though!

TM-55-1520-240-10 is a great reference for the Chinook. I used to have a hard copy (courtesy of the US Government) until my apartment building caught fire.......no worries though, i managed to save the Aurora HC-1B kit. Smile [:)]

Anywho....another great reference is an old Airfax book on the Chinook. I think it was Airfax 27 by David Anderton. Another is the CH-47 In-Action series done by Squadron. Needless to say, these too were lost in the fire.

Back to the drawing board.
