I think the old Revell kit is the only game in town.  AMP says they are coming out with a new tool 1/48 kit - we'll see.

Thanks,

John

You don't mention scale, but in 1/72 Italeri offers a couple varieties of Sikorsky S55 (H-19, HO4S, HRS etc). An early straight boom version, boxed as an H-19A which can be built with or without floats. Also the later more common bent boom boxed as an H19B or HO4S3. Revell also offered the H-19 with decals for a US Coast Guard helicopter but it is a reboxed Italeri kit.

The HO4S3 boxing of the kit (Royal Canadian Navy helicopter box art) includes decals for a dark blue Korean war era USMC HRS-2.

The Italeri kit is a modern kit (2000-ish) and pretty decent, I've built several.

Airfix also did one as a Westland Whirlwind, but it is an ancient kit first offered in the 1950s or 60s.

In 1/48, I think the old 1960s Revell kit is the only option.
