It has been 60 years since the Allied forces stormed the beaches of France to liberate and free Europe from Hitlers unholy and evil power.
In the past several days I have had a chance to speak to a guest at my Hotel who was in the battle of the Buldge....man I tell you the srories that I heard, I was lucky enough to speak to him on several occasions before he and his wife checked out ....so I made sure I to say
THANK YOU FOR SERVING and he told me that I was the second person to EVER say that..... THAT! IS A SHAME!

I have never done time in combat so I can not even begin to imagin what it was like for those who were there on the beaches, battle fields or in the air during WWII or any war for that matter, with this I say
A SALUTE TO THE HEROES OF YESTERDAY AND A BIG "LETS ROLL" FOR THOSE OF YOU IN THE SERVICE TODAY!!
Straighten up and fly right.....
