LOL!!
Same thing has happened to me about a hundred times, mate!! Too many models, not enough time...........
I got a great desk from the local auctions - it was a big desk made for an office. lots of drawers, pull out sliding cutting boards (?) on each side, but the best thing of all....a smooth formica simulated wood top!! No more stains when you spill paint, superglue can be scraped right off, resin doesn't stick to it - smooth and straight!
Doesn't get better than that.

Cheers, LeeTree

I picked up my modeling desk at a used equipment warehouse in Cleveland. They have a virtual mountain of both wood and metal desks for $25.00 each - your choice. Now I have a full sized metal desk with simulated wood top for the model room and a huge all wood desk for the family room computer that I've refinished.

Matt (SWANNY), the H-34G helo kit you picked up from ebay! Iassume that it is an out of production kit by revell? also, are you using aftermarket piece/parts for your build? I'd love to see this kit become avail as we former Marines, used the H34 extensively in the first part of the vietnam war. they were flying when everything else was sitting on the ground. great helicopter. semper fi, mike

I'm supposed to be finishing my 1/48 Tupolev SB-2 vac build and I actually am doing some work on it and still have a 1/48 J7W2 Shinden conversion sitting on the desk. I was holding off starting anything new because I have this really big 1/48 Ki-67 Peggy project coming up - waiting for the last bits to arrive from the UK. I picked up the Revell 1/48 H-34G from ebay cause the price was right (can you believe that?) and then I had to get the CE detail set which came in today and of course I had to open everything up and make sure it was all good - boy was it all good. Next thing I knew I was cutting new floor panels and roof panels and sanding resin and test fitting and .... and .... and it just got out of hand. Really - that's what happened. I really didn't mean to start this right now, I just got sucked in.

I have a full sized desk for main projects with a half sized desk as a side board but I got the feeling I'm going to need a bigger desk and real soon.
