I just thought I'd ressurect this particular thread and firstly say what a fine model this is, I recently bought the Italerai 1/48 version which apart from a little bit of flash is coming together very nicely, I really should have researched a little more as I have now discovered the seats should be black and not green as I have painted them - this I can correct but hey - trial and error !

Suffice to say Abymoore this is one of the best examples I've seen yet on the net, hopefully mine will be half as good .

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] I wouldn't want that thing barreling down on my position. I'm just glad it's on our side. Nice job, Albert.

SCHWEET! Very cool. I've heard really good things about the Hase kit. Maybe I gotta start building in 48th!

Hi Albert,

Wooah, what a nice looking Apache!!! That Recruiter has a full time job just keeping prospective boots from touching it, I bet! Big Smile [:D]

Thanks for the post!

Hi All,

I have another helicopter model to share, a Hasegawa AH-64D Longbow Apache. I built this when the kit was newly released, loved the hell out of it. Not much needs to be said, as it was a typical Hasegawa shake-n-bake kit (not losing surface detail while eliminating seams was a bit of a challenge however). Finish is Model Master Helo Drab. This model now calls the local Army Recruiter's office home. Once I get some close up pictures of the Israeli's new AH-64D Sharaf (have a few pictures of it during test flights, nothing close though), I'll build another one of these.

Cheers,
Albert Clown [:o)]
