1/35 Puma kit
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 5, 2004 10:28 AM
Hi again, I seem to be flooding the forum with questions.
I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the old Matchbox 1/35 Puma kit??
is it a decent kit? There is one on ebay that I was looking at.
Thanks
Rob

I have built this kit. It is a very good kit. It comes out looking nice. I highly recommend it.

Here is an earlier thread asking the same question.

Great job on the buildup Gino. By the way is this kit 1/32 or 1/35? The ebay auction indicates its a 1/35 Heller kit in the title but not in the text?

I believe it is 1/32. That was the only large scale aircraft scale in early 80s when it was originally produced by Matchbox.

The Puma was re released by Revell Germany with extras - like flotation gear, bigger sponsons intake bird screen thingies as well as winches and other good stuff.
I have the Matchbox kit which is ok for an earlier Puma the mould has survived well and it is not bad in Revell guise, so either kit is a good purchase.
