Hi Jeff,

That kit was one of my earliest model helicopters... brings back old memories.

The Aurora B Model has a couple of qualities that make it questionable; (1) The profile, especially in the front (windshield/nose area), is incorrect, and (2) there is an incredible lack of detailing... (NO panel lines, toy-like interior, rotor shaft/head, etc) which isn't a problem if one doesn't mind scratch building, but the Profile thing is hard to overcome without major modification.

I've got one of the old G Model Cobra's from Aurora, released around the same time period, and it's still in the box today because of the profile (canopy/forward fuselage) discrepancies.

They make good collection pieces however! Smile [:)]

Take care,
Frank

Saw this on E-Bay.

1966 UH-1B - Sealed, in box, complete.

NO RESERVE!!

Listing says "1/4 Scale", but more like 1/48th given it's Aurora, and the date of release.

Happy Bidding!!
