1/35 close enough to 1/32

just surfing around some more and realized the kit i will be building soon is 1/35th

Looks like a typo. The description on the pe set says it's for Academy which doesn't make a 1/32 scale Huey. The Great Models Webstore lists all the eduard pe sets available (the interior, the exterior, and the armament). Just click on the link below and do a search on the UH-1. Great Models also lists them as 1/32 though they're actually 1/35.

Look at the manufacturer of the PE set you are looking at, it is Eduard. As far as 1/32 vs. 1/35, it may not work for the PE Set. 1/32 is 10% larger, not a big deal (as far as I am concerned, others disagree) when mixing vehicles, figures, and aircraft. It is noticable when mixing on the same model because the PE will be made to fit larger parts, not the 1/35 parts.

I looked on Great Models Webstore and they list the Edward sets as 1/32 too, but say they are for the Academy/ MRC series of UH-1C Hueys. It is kinda confusing. On second thought, I think they will actually be right for the MRC/Academy kits.
