As some of you may have read in one my replies to another post, I was trying to find a contact and address for the Baghdad Hobby Club. It is running out ofone of the US Recreation centers there and is set up for soldiers to get away from the action for a while and relax. They operate mostly off of donations from individuals and model companies. I found the address and POC and got an email back from the POC, SGT Flyte. He says they are still going strong. I plan on sending them some modesl I no longer plan on building. If anyone is interrested in doing the same, here is the address:

SGT Dean D. Flyte
ISG/MCT#4/ SCP-B
Camp Slayer
APO AE 09342

I am sure they will be glad to recieve anything you care to donate. Maybe we can do a Fine Scale Modeler drive and see how much we can send them.

This is indeed a Nobel endeavor, and I for one, appreciate you stepping forward with this information! I have a couple kits laying around here that I will never build, so this is doubly important, thanks, Gino! Smile [:)]

Take care,
Frank

I just thought I would throw in my two cents worth. Subscription donations would be great. While it is very difficult for most to work on, let alone complete, a modeling project, a magezine subscription helps to keep soldiers plugged on to the hobby. If a couple of subscriptions were donated, that one gift would brighten the day of a suprising number of servicemembers.
