I´m a spanish modellers, and very happy to see you here sir, long time ago I´m plannig 2-3 diorama based on your stories at "Gunslingers" book. I´m just starting a diorama of one of yours OH-6-A on fly, chasing a group of NVA infantry, and going into ambush with a 12,7 mm degyaretv heavy machine gun pit. The moment it´s just when "you" began to be fired by the "bad" guys after overfly another empty machine gun pit. Do you remember the story ????
I need details about the zone of the incident, if there was any tree, how was the brush (high grass, rice padies, ????) if the helo was "MIss Clawd IV", the look of your gunner, if you were ill in the incident, and so...
This is a very serius proyect for me. You can check my previus Us Navy Seals and LSSC Nam dioramas, if you like it, at "dioramas" forum in this web.
Another future proyect is a "pick up" of the crew of a fireddown OH-6 by a UH-1-H and arp´s of 16thcav Darhorse.
