I stand corrected. I don't have a UH-1E its a UH-1C "Huey" Gunship. I'll try Twobobs, to see if I find what I need. Thanks guys

I hope you have an Acedemy UH-1E but I too doubt it. Aside from the nose turret (not many had those) the ordnance set-up on the side (twin 60s and pod) is completely different than any others Hueys. As said earlier you could do a slick and leave off the hoist too.

The Panda UH-1N kit has the high-vis decals that would work for pre or post Vietnam but most of the Vietnam aircraft eventually had the high-vis toned down to black markings.

There are no 1/35 scale decals for an early Marine Huey. Sad [:(] Petebuilt mentioned TwoBobs selling 1/35 low-vis decals for current USMC Cobras. You can start there and "repaint" the decals white, or another option would be to find decals in 1/48 or 1/32 for fixed wing aircraft and see how well that fits on the tailboom of the Huey.Smile [:)]

Hey Manuel. At the risk of sounding picky, I believe what you have is the UH-1C, not an "E".
But, depending on which "E" you want to build, it can be done with the kit.
According to "UH-1 Huey in action", the first 34 "E" models were the same as the Army "B" model. You can use the Cobra Co. "B" backdate set to make one of the early "E"s.
After that they went to the "C" model as the "E".
The Marines used them as "Slicks" AND "Gunships". They also had a rotor brake and a roof mounted rescue hoist, although some of the "Gunships" had the hoist removed.
Many of the "E"s were fitted with the TAT 101, twin 7.62 machinegun turret.
I'm sure that someone out there in "Modelland" can add to or correct any misinformation that I may have given you.
As far as any decals go, I don't know of any. But again, I could be wrong.
I hope this helps.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of USMC decals you want, but as far as I know Twobobs AH-1W modern low-vis are the only decals around in 1/35. Pete

I have a 1/35 MRC Academy UH-1E "Huey" Gunship. I'd like to know where I might aftermarket US Marines decals. My gunship came with only Army decals.
