Swanny, My younger cat liked to chew on my canopies that were freshly dried after a Future dip. She stopped after she and I had a one way conversation involving a spray bottle. Smile [:)] She's still keeps me company though.

Neuter? He came that way. This cat is so macho we thought he was still packin and took him to the vet who did not discover that the box was empty until just before surgery began. Not only is he the cats cat but he weighs in at almost 20 pounds. I've seen him leap almost six feet into the air to knock down birds before. The dog next door lives in fear of his visits to that yard. He has been trained (squirt gun) to stay out of the model room now, he sits at the door and begs but I have been strong and not invited him in.

Hey Swanny,
Great job on the S-51. I noticed the blades were backward but hey .. you should be proud of the work you've done. It's not that easy of a kit to build and you've done a very good job on it. I've got a copy of that kit too and I agree the clear fuselage halves sounded like a great idea but the windows are just not clear enough. By the way, for Clarence ... and his desire to attack styrene ... can you say 'neuter'. That'll teach him.
Hope you enjoy your helos ... keep us posted on your work.

It's the FM kit which I customized by putting the main rotor blades on backwards Shock [:O]
The entire main fuselage halves are done with clear polystrene and the windows are not that clear. It' includes resin, white metal and PE details. Belcher Bits offers a copy of it under their nametag also. Mine already suffered a cat attack and has been rebuilt once.
Meet Clarence, dealer of death to all things styrene.

I usually work on planes but every once in a while I'll venture into the realms of 'wump....wump....wump' - here is a 1/48 Sikorsky H-5 or S-51 depending on how you want to look at it.
