Italeri's 1/35 Blackhawk kit no. 6430 - is it somebody else's????

Does anybody have any input on this kit? I just looked at one about an hour ago and since the box was already open I took a peek...Big Smile [:D]

Inside I saw a sticker on the parts bag that said it was reboxed from Academy (the spelling was wrong on the sticker so I'm guessing it was supposed to be Academy here).Question [?]

Any input would be great.

If memory serves correctly (from an earlier post in this forum), the Italeri 1/35 Blackhawk and AH-1W Cobra are both reboxes of the Academy kits.

Yes sir. It is an Academy kit.
I haven't started on my AH-60 DAP yet but, from what I have seen of it AND other Academy 1/35 helicopter kits. They are fantastic!
If the price is right? You won't go wrong.

The price was just under $48 bucks and there were at least three on the shelf.

Thanks for the help!

That's about the going price for the Academy kit.
I got my DAP at a Hobby Lobby 1/2 price sale for $24.99.

If you manage to find yourself on travel or TDY to some places like Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, or Australia, you can get the same kit for cheaper than in the U.S. off a good exchange rate. I got my 1/35 scale Academy MH-60G for about $20.00 U.S. Big Smile [:D]

Sorry, I'm PCSing to Alaska pretty much for good in October! I've been trying to move south my entire career and have only ended up moving north for the most part.Laugh [(-D]

Pretty sure that where I'm going there is no "local" hobby store and it will have to come 100% via mail order! Nearest town will be at least 90 miles away!!Banged Head [banghead]

Depends on where in Alaska you are going. I was TDY to Ft Wainwright (Fairbanks) about a year ago and they had two good hobby shops there. The prices, like everything else in AK, were pretty high though.

I'm going to FT Greely - next to Delta Junction, population of about 800 - Fairbanks is the nearest major city, hospital, Wall-Mart, shopping mall, restaurant, and so forth.

Thanks for the tip! I'm sure I'll be checking them out during my stay!
