Right now the kits are on sale. If they do not look to bad maybe I'll break down and get one. Thanks for the feed back.

In addition to the UH-1D/H set a set to upgrade the UH-1N to modern naval standards will be available shortly from Cobra Company. There will also be a weapons set for the UH-1N.

As Winnie states, they are not too bad. They are upsized from 1/48 scale Italeri models. With the upscaling, things get a little big in detail. Rivets and panel lines are large, interior parts for seat supports are overscale as well. No interior bracing as in the MRC kits either. Instrument panel will need to be scratchbuilt or replaced, only comes with the decal, no relief on the part. Cobra Company does an update set for it that corrects most of the interior problems. The Cobra Company set will bring it up to about the level on MRC/Academy UH-1C's, but costs as much as the Panda kit.. Here is the Cobra Company set:

Some errors.

Rivets look like rail road rivets, and only decal for instrument panel. Blades are not quite accurate either, but that's minor stuff. Otherwise they both look like OK models (I have both UH-1N and UH-1D). When I get "rich" I'll buy some "spares" from the Cobra Company. (Perhaps a group build subject?).

I was looking at www.internethobbies.com where they have a sale on 1/35 scale helicopters, the Huey of the 1st cav. and a Huey wasp. I was wondering how are they and if they are like the MRC Huey's? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
