hey all...
just building a itarei apache longbow and the rotor blades bend upwards, but as i wanna build it stationary i have to get em to bend downwards.. does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? i was thinking bout holding the blades over a pot of boiling water...

Actually, what I have done is to hold the blades between my hands and warm them up. Then I pass the blades through my thumb and forefinger anumber of times while I am bending slightly in the direction that I want them to sag. The friction of passing through your hands also serves to add heat and make them bend better. It takes a bit longer than the thin blades of my Russian helicopters, but I've gotten some reasonably good sag with this technique.

You could also warm them with a hair dryer and then gently flex them downwards.
