Ok guys, I've been playing around with my crappy digital camera and have gotten a couple decent shots of my bird. Of course, its blurry, so you can't see the fine detail like the wire harnesses on the rotor hub, laser detectors (except the white, unpainted one on the tailboom) or anything else for that matter, but here's the pics!

Looks good to me (the a/c that is). No worries on the pics - you'll get the hang of it. Camera can be a little tricky when using the zoom, so i went out and got a cheap, flexible little stand that attaches to the bottom. Helps a lot!

Speaking of pics - i need to post some of my Chinook progress, but to tell you the truth, i've been working on just the forward upper pylon for close to 2 months now and i'm no where near finished with it. Soon enough i guess......soon enough.

Thanks for sharing - Happy Turkey Day!

some advice that may help take better pics.
move the model to a place where the model is the only thing in the pic, most digital cameras have auto focus and this stops the camera from focusing on anything but the model.
Provide your own light and dont use the cameras flash.
Stand as far back as possible from the model zoom in, as close as you can then walk towards the model as close as you can without screwing up the focus. Give your camera a second to make sure its focused, usually done by holding the button down not enough to take the pic but enough to engage the focus, then take the pic. Once you've downloaded to the pic to your computer you can use whatever photoprogram you have you crop out just the model for posting. This usually works for the not quite so expensive camera's. The more top end ones aren't so tricky. That should help you get a decent photo of what looks like an awsome apache.
