I've seen that pic before. It's from the 70s. I don't remember if it was US Army or a European nation.
Looking at it closer, it's definately a different pattern than the current PATs. Whereas MARPAT, CADPAT, ACUPAT and NAVPAT are random areas of color to disrupt the form and break up the outline, this is a series of vertical bands whose edges are squared off, not too dissimilar to the Air Force's new "TigerPAT."
I gotta ask - what is that the duct tape is holding in place? Aluminum?
