They have been back on the shelves for over a month now. Gt mine from Sprue Brothers off Ebay. All the major online shops show them in stock and available.

Ditto, received mine from Squadron back in October.

Yeah, depends on who you go through. My local hobby stores don't have them, and Rolls Models couldn't get them, but I got two from Great Models and they shipped out the next day.

Stock up boys. Who knows what the future holds for Killer Egg availability.

I must've had a run of bad luck. I tried to get one through both Roll Models and Squadron and I haven't seen squat. Unless the wife intercepted the box and wrapped it up as a Christmas gift, she can be sneaky like that. Still, I'll get my hands on one of these some day. Too close to the big holiday to justify ordering another just yet.

yeah man, but it seems that only the online shops have them, none of my LHS's are or can get them. I got mine just 2 weeks ago!

Figures, just when I've given up until after the holidays, I come home and find a box from Squadron sitting on the table. It's the Littlebird that I ordered a couple months ago! The wife asked me if I "could send it back", so I'm thinking that there's another one of these under the tree for me. Too sweet. So now I can either get the MELB kit from Cobra, or I can have two gunships to escort my Pavehawk.

After all the trouble it took to find these kits, that's a dillemma I can live with.

Ah, good to hear you received your Little Bird, LJ. I started messing with mine a bit over the weekend, fitting some of the resin bits from the Cobra Co MELB set and gathering more references on the real deal (extra special thanks to Chris Miller for some much needed pics). Mine will still be a gunship, with the cockpit, RWR antennas, and FLIR from the Cobra Co MELB set. I will really get into this badboy once the holidays pass. It's about impossible to stay focused with all the hoopla of the season.

Cheers,

I know what you mean, albymoore, between the job and some last minute shopping, I haven't really had much time to even sit at the workbench, much less get something built. I'm hoping for a little free time over the holidays, but it never works out that way, does it? I've got to clear the decks of an AH-1T and a M16 quad .50 halftrack before I start in on the Killer Egg.
