Speaking of Mexican Mi-8s, here is a couple of color profiles from Americo Maia's Russian Color and Camouflage site ( http://geocities.yahoo.com.br/alvmaia/Mig/ ).

Sign - Welcome [#welcome], Jose. Great to have this info.
Who knows, I may run out of modeling ideas one day.
And by the way. Thanks for your service to our great country.

Last October i built a MI-17 with mexican navy markings in 1/72 scale.

After that, many modelers have told me that they did not know that Mexico had those machines in its inventory.

So here is a list of most of the helos the mexican navy and the air force fly now a days:

AS 330 PUMA
AS 352 SUPER PUMA
AS 550 FENNEC
BELL 205
BELL 206
BELL 212
BELL 412
BOLKOW BO-105 CB (NAVAL)
MD500
MD530G
MD900
MIL MI-2
MIL MI-8
MILMI-17
MILMI-26
S-70A (UH-60L EXPORT)

Mexico is trying to modernize its air wing and has made some interesting purchases in the past couple years which means more interesting subjects to built, if you like small air forces that is.
