MELB & Delta (pics)
Posted by Avus on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 12:04 PM
May I introduce ... my MELB:

It's a converted Dragon MD-500. I had to scratchbuild a lot of details, including the planks and their mounts.
Pilots are mofied (SPH-4 to HGU-56 and Nomex suit to ABDU) CMK UH-60 Crew. Deltas are: scratchbuilt legs, modified Dragon torsos and heads and custom Dragon arms (Somalia Delta Force).

I'll be updating my web-site and preparing an article for ARC to show the details of my work.

Any comments are welcome!

Another great job. Thanks for sharing. I'll be looking for your article.

Thank you all, guys!

Awood23 My Hind is where I left it ... almost done!Ashamed [*^_^*]
The last two months I was busy cleaning up the house and so I found out that I have A LOT of unifinished models. So I decided to draw a line and start finishing all of them before starting someting new. I picked up the "almost dones" and started finishing them first : since the MELB was more "almost done" that the Hind I completed it first, but the next one will be the Hind.

Klaus,
Great article and build photos for a great looking MELB. Hey, those guys on the planks look familiar. Hmmm.
