Depends. I like to use Oderless CA glue and 5 minute epoxy (for the really stubborn fitting parts). Then I'll use thinned down Microscale Krystal Klear to fill any gaps.

Cheers,

First thing I usually do is dip the glass in Future. This will protect it from almost anything.

Then depending on the fit of the glass I would use either Testors Clear parts Cement, Regular Elmers glue, or a Tiny bit of Ca.

The Testors and Elmer's Glue can be used to fill any gaps you may have. Where as The Ca can be used if the fit is as tight as you like w/o any filling needed. The Future should protect the glass from fogging if regular Ca is used.

Hope this helps

I have used all of the above mentioned methods. I have had some success using 5 minute epoxy to fill some gaps on ill fitting canopies by letting it set for a minute or two before I put it on but this works best if I have lightly sanded the mating surfaces to give it a little tooth. By the way, if you are modeling an aircraft that has been worked hard, don't worry too much about having pristene transparancies. As a crewchief, I often have to clean the worst of the leftover adhesives left after maintenance has finished thier job. In the back of the aircraft ( I crew Blackhawks ) the cargo door windows are often streaked with oil which picks up alot of dust and sand.

I hope that this is useful to you.
