I haven't ordered directly from Hawkeye yet. I have been getting them from an Ebay vendor, which is where I first found out about the 1/72 conversion kits. Which again, are very nice.

Going out on a limb here, based on the quality of the detail, the sharpness of the resin parts, I don't think delivery will be an issue. BUT THIS IS A GUESS ONLY!

The email of the guy I have been dealing with over there is rosnroy@bigpond.net.au. Delivery time for the items I got from him was not quite a week.

Rocky,

This is great news. Thanks for turning this site up. Hows the delivery time?

FOUND A SOURCE FOR THESE!

www.Hawkeyemodels.com.au has 1/72 and some 1/48 decals for most of the following:

Jayhawk - (2) types
Stingray
Dolphin
Albatross
Pelican
Guardian

I just scored a couple of their 1/72 conversion kits, SH-60J Seahawkk and HH-3 Pelican, which include the decals. Very nicely done and the parts are high quality.

There are no decals in 1/72 available unless you can find the old micro scale sheet, but you would get decals that are 15-20 years old.
Your best bet would be to find the Revell of Germany kit of the SA365, the old Matchbox kit with US Coast Guard decals. It sells for about $8.
The MH68 has very basic USCG decals so the revell set should do you nicely.

Rocky,

The 48th scale decals wouldn't work, but if you could get a scan of the 48th sheet and shoot it down to 72nd, then make your own decals, you'd be golden!

this came up a couple of months ago, and unfortunately I don't think anyone makes decals other than Aeromaster for a USCG PBY. I think Knight667 was after the same build as you back then, I had a set from my HH-65 I sent him but don't know if they worked or not.

The only thing I can think of in comparable size would be the Trumpeter HH-65 decals from that kit. (about 19 dollars)

Revell is slated to release a HH-68 sometime in the future just not sure when. I am waiting for it too so I can make it for my dad...

---edit---

I just saw the scale you are building in, the HH-65 is 1/48 so not sure it would work for ya...

Getting all geared up for the Attack Helo GB. Building a 1/72 USCG MH68. I have everything but the decals.

Anybody know who has 1/72 USCG decals? I know I could always raid a kit here and there and may be forced to, but, would rather not, since I'd still be short decals for that kit!

For the weapons on the bird, using the MG from the Challenger II, Irag 2003 issue. For the rifle, using a set of Revell German Commando figures. They have a sniper who is laying down with a rifle. The gun looks like it will be pretty passable after a couple of mods.
