Alby,

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Gonna have to do my best at heat forming it. probably have to carve a bulbous wooden master for it. Gotta love that word... bulbous.

I've been writing too long....

QUOTE: Can it be done, or is it just really late and I'm punch drunk from writing so much?

Jon,
As long as the punch isn't from the Jim Jones line of flavors, I don't think it is a deranged thought. Big Smile [:D] But like Lee said, that would require some major scratchbuilding. Given your knack for doing those kind of builds (Revell A to D Apache, and ORH F-model Cobra), you could handle it. The tough part I see is vacuforming the bulbous canopy.

Cheers,

I dont know, that would take alot of scratchbuilding, but if that is your forte', go for it!

Ok, it is late, I'm working, and I'm staring at this pic of an Iraqi Gazelle at Balad Airbase when the 501st Aviation was there. Its a neat shot of two Apache pilots playing in a wrecked Gazelle, but then, as I turn and look at the latest issue of Air Forces Monthly which is laid open on the desk beside me, it hits me....
Blue Thunder..... What would it entail to reverse engineer the 1/32 Blue Thunder kit to an accurate Royal Army Air Corps AH.1 Gazelle? Can it be done, or is it just really late and I'm punch drunk from writing so much?

Of course, with the projects I've just committed myself to, I'm the last one that should be thinking of MORE to do.
